It has been a long time I have not reviewed and since it has been a few months since I am using my Maybelline Superstay Inks, so I thought to give a review. I brought three shades of it as I really liked the color and finish.
What the brand claims: Flawless matte finish with saturated colors that stays for 16 hours long and comes with a unique arrow applicator for precise application.
My take:
Packaging: 9/10 I really liked the packaging and the color of the bottle is exactly the shade of lip ink and I do not need to read the shade number or open the bottle to check the shade. I can quickly pick up the color. The applicator comes with an arrow shape which makes it quite easy for applying precisely without a lipliner.
Stay: 10/10 I am so surprised with the stay, I am telling you it is not going anywhere until you remove it with an oil cleanser or vaseline. It is a super stay. It won’t stick on glasses or anywhere.
Pigment: 9/10 The colors come right away with one swipe of the applicator and it is exactly as shown on the bottle. The bright colors are supersaturated.
Feel: 6/10 I am really disappointed with the feel, it feels a little dry and sticky on lips. That makes it difficult to wear it daily. After removing it my lips were chapped. I hate that. Personally I like my lipsticks very light and matte with moisture. Maybe because they are matte and superstay and have to be stick to the lips for so long without fading, that can be the reason for them to be little dry and sticky.
Finish: 8/10 The finish is pretty awesome, just one swipe and it is flawless.
Price: 7/10 I think they are bit overpriced for the price of 650 INR, I got them at NEWU Store in Pacific Mall.
Overall Rating: 7/10
Overall, I think the products stand up to what it claims, It is best for long hours parties as they stay super long and you do not have to worry while eating and the color pigment is so strong and does not even fade and gives a flawless matte finish.
