This year January when we were planning for a 2-day trip, Udaipur popped up in our mind and we were so eager to visit the city of lakes after going through pictures, I went there with my three friends, and it was more of friends together time trip, we spend more time at hotel room watching haunted movies and jumping on bed, enjoying mid-night noodles hunger, fighting and things like that. We managed to visit a few places including Jagdish Temple, Saheliyo ki baari, Lake Pichola and two other lakes. Udaipur is a small, quiet, less polluted and clean place though it is mostly a tourist place attributed to its lakes and palaces.
You can easily visit the entire city in two days as all the places are closely located within the diameter of 4 to 5 km. I do not prefer my trips to be hectic, since I need time to relax, sit and observe peacefully at all the places I visit. So we did not travel to many places, just visited some selected places and focused more on enjoying and living that place. I have tried to capture Udaipur in my camera and sharing some pictures (please bear with me as I am lazy enough to not tell in detail about each photo).
We had a nice Rajasthani food here including kadi, choorma, baati etc and an apple pie also.
Jagdish temple is a piece of spectacular carved art.
The local market outside the Jagdish temple is a mix of vintage, artwork and tradition, I loved roaming this market and wanted to capture each one.
I was amazed by these wall paintings. They were excellent,
I hope you enjoyed the small glimpse of Udaipur.
Lots of love
